About Us

We’ve been close friends since school. It’s probably fair to say that we’re not dissimilar personalities (maybe that’s why we’re great mates) and can both be single minded – sitting at our desks for hours all day without a break (no, really, sometimes 7am until 3am) in order to get the job done.

We both have young children of similar ages and agree that some of the postures adopted in parenthood (i.e. reaching across at full extension with bent back to pull a child from the car) would have a physiotherapist or fitness trainer screaming at us for trying to inflict damage on our backs, if performed in a gym.

With hindsight, it’s possible that some of the above is not entirely unrelated to our present conditions. However, we are both relatively fit (we can both easily swim a mile or cycle 20).. and, if we’d known then what we know now, would have almost certainly been more careful!
